Why is comparative data so important to financial analysis?
• You need comparative data to measure actual results to budgeted or forecasted amounts, to measure against prior period data, to measure against other organizations or departments, measure the organization to industry standards or benchmarks.

What is the concept of Common Sizing and why is it utilized?
• Convert to data to comparable or common metrics
• Utilized to complete trend analysis
